Adolescence
For this warm-up, we return to Woodlawn Heights High School. It's Friday afternoon in Mr. Baker's psychology classroom. The students have all submitted their projects; all of the students except for one that is. Listen to the conversation that occurs in the classroom, then proceed to the discussion prompt below.

Take a moment to reflect on your own life. Do you feel the same as Donnie in that your parents, teachers, or other adults have high expectations of you, but they also limit you as if they still see you like a child? Think of some specific examples when this has happend in your life.
Post your responses in the discussion area. Then, return to the topic several times over the next few days to read your course mates' posts. Reply to at least two of them, making sure to offer new insights, ask questions, and encourage further conversation.
