Adulthood and Aging
It can be difficult to imagine yourself twenty, thirty, or forty years older than you are now. This is especially true when you consider the ages of your parents and grandparents. As people mature, developmental psychologists have discovered most tend to experience similar developmental tasks, even though each person's life runs a unique course. Many adolescents have hard time understanding their parents and may even think that they are weird; however, chances are your parents will seem pretty normal after you take a look at what other people are also experiencing in adulthood.
