Adulthood and Aging

As you have learned, adults experience unique stressors at every phase of development. Although you most likely have a grasp on the various challenges throughout young, middle, and late adulthood, individuals feel impacted by stress in different ways. During this assignment, you will have the opportunity to survey adults from a decade of your choice, in order to determine the different types of concerns that exist.
Surveys
As requirements for your survey, please choose a decade of interest from thirties to the seventies. Then, select four adults from your chosen decade to interview. Present the following questions as part of each survey:
- What are the three biggest stressors in your life in order of significance?
- How do you manage the stress of these events?
Access the Adult Stress Survey Question Guide so you can take notes on each adult's comments. Before you begin, take a moment to review the Adult Stress Survey Checklist to help you complete your assignment and understand how your work will be graded.
Analysis
Once you have completed all four surveys, analyze the participants' answers. Write a paragraph about what you discovered regarding adult stressors. Write a five-to-eight sentence paragraph that includes examples from your interviews.
Once you have completed your question guide from the survey and written your analysis, please submit your work to the dropbox.
