  1. Who are the current Senators and House representatives for Virginia?
  2. Which state(s) have the smallest number of seats in the House?
  3. Which state(s) have the largest number of seats in the House?
  4. Write out the portion of Article I, Section 1 of the Constitution that gives state legislatures the power to choose senators.
  5. Write out the portion of the constitutional amendment that gives the people the power to elect senators.
  6. Who are the current party leaders in the Senate? (President pro tempore, Majority Leader, and Minority Leader)
  7. Who are the current party leaders in the House? (Speaker of the House, Majority Leader, Minority Leader)
  8. Identify one House committee and explain its purpose.
  9. Identify one Senate committee and explain its purpose.
  10. Identify one joint committee and explain its purpose.
