JudgeBefore the ratification of the Constitution, under the Articles of Confederation, there was no national judiciary. Legal issues were resolved solely in the state courts. Why do you think the Founding Fathers believed it was necessary to create a federal judiciary? Is a national or federal judicial branch necessary? Why or why not?
