Voting

VotingThere are many ways that a citizen can participate in civic life, but perhaps the most important is voting. At this point in American history, the right to vote, or suffrage, has been extended to more citizens than ever before. Ironically, even though more Americans are able to vote, the number of people who cast their ballots in November is in decline. This topic will examine voting, the extension of voting rights, and voter turnout.
