Settling A Claim: Conflict Resolution and Mediation

Handshake
Everyone has a conflict now and then. Sometimes the conflict is with another person, a group of people, or even within yourself. It is how you react and learn from these conflicts that determines your character and reputation. Conflicts cannot always be resolved by the people involved using conflict resolution skills, so a mediator should step in to help the two parties agree to a compromise. You may even know of peer mediation programs in your own school.

Settling a conflict does not have to be a roadblock. Rather, consider it one more curve that you learn to handle on the road of life.
